Job summary

SentiLink builds fraud detection and identity verification models powering a large portion of the U.S. financial system. As an Applied ML Manager, you will own a core area end to end and lead a team of scientists to deliver impactful ML solutions.

You’ll coach, review code, and contribute directly where it matters, while shaping product strategy and using AI safely within governance constraints.

Qualifications

• 6+ years applying machine learning or statistics to real-world problems.
• 3+ years directly managing ML or data science teams.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• Production ML experience and production-grade Python code/tests.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of applied ML scientists, 4 today and growing to 6 by end of 2026.
• Own execution for your area: priorities, delivery, and results.
• Coach and mentor team members and remain hands-on where it matters.
• Partner with senior leadership and product to prioritize work and deliver ML solutions.
• Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and results to stakeholders.
