Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in applied AI/ML engineering with production deployments.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks; strong OpenAI API experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Solid grasp of statistics, ML fundamentals, and generative model architectures (GANs/VAEs).
• Portfolio showing generative NLP models and OpenAI API use.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership by designing, developing, and deploying ML/LLM/GenAI solutions from concept through production, maintaining ownership for reliability and operability.
• Work with product managers, data scientists, ML engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize use cases.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, pairing, and coaching; build and institutionalize MLOps pipelines for deployment, monitoring, and model lifecycle management.
• Implement optimization strategies to fine-tune generative models for NLP use cases including summarization and text generation.
• Evaluate generative models (e.g., GPT-4.1), iterate on architectures, and improve production performance.
• Implement monitoring to track model performance in real-time and ensure reliability.
• Communicate AI/ML/GenAI capabilities and results to technical and non-technical audiences; stay updated on latest AI/ML trends.
