Job summary

TSTC is seeking an instructor to deliver approved curriculum in an applied learning environment. You will facilitate activities, mentor students, and use a mix of teaching techniques to engage diverse learners.

Responsibilities include assessing student work, providing feedback, and promoting program success while upholding TSTC core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity.

Qualifications

• Verifiable work experience in Building Construction Trades.
• Ability to explain and demonstrate knowledge of: hand tools, power tools, and stationary tools.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, specifications, contracts, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high quality instruction to students using various teaching methods.
• Mentor students and provide guidance to support learning outcomes.
• Integrate technology to enrich educational experiences.
• Interpret and administer assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Act as ambassador for programs and TSTC; collaborate with stakeholders.
