Job summary

POPS Therapeutics is seeking Behavior Technicians to work with clients under the supervision of a BCBA in homes, schools, and community settings. You will implement behavior intervention plans and teach essential life skills using ABA techniques, while collecting data on progress.

Qualifications

• Follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity, while collecting accurate data.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes, schools, or community settings.
• Commitment to ethics, confidentiality, and inclusive environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement BIPs developed by the BCBA to address clients' needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one ABA instruction using DTT, naturalistic teaching, and behavior management techniques.
• Collect data on client progress using designated data collection tools.
• Assist clients in acquiring functional skills across communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes engagement and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress and adjust strategies.
• Communicate progress with clients, families, caregivers, and other team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities in ABA.
