Job summary

Elwyn in Pennsylvania seeks an Applied Behavior Specialist (ABS) to deliver intensive behavioral assessment and BSP implementation for individuals with PWS or similar conditions in CRS. You’ll apply ABA-based strategies, work with a clinical team, and help decrease problem behaviors while promoting adaptive skills in a structured setting.

You will collect data, supervise on-site residents, prepare meals, and participate in team-driven planning and documentation, with shifts that can be full-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field plus experience with behavioral needs.
• Experience working with challenging behaviors is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Provides behavioral assessment and BSP implementation for residents in CRS.
• Applies ABA strategies and therapies as directed by the clinical team.
• Collects data on behavior plans and outcomes to monitor progress.
• Supports daily living skills and coordinates recreational activities.
• Maintains documentation and adheres to program schedules and policies.
• Coordinates transportation and responds to emergencies per protocols.
• Manages medications per plan and supports family involvement as needed.
