Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer, Applied AI (Starlink) to build scalable web apps and services for Starlink’s digital experience. You will work on TypeScript React front‑ends and a .NET micro‑service backend running in Kubernetes, delivering high‑quality, observability‑driven software across teams.

The role emphasizes hands‑on coding, end‑to‑end feature delivery, and collaboration with engineering peers to improve architecture and performance for millions of users

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline and 1+ years of experience building full‑stack software; OR 3+ years of professional experience building full‑stack software in lieu of a degree (internship experience is applicable)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Front-end experience with React/Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks
• Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases
• Experience with version control, CI/CD concepts, and building observable systems
• Strong attention to detail and a drive to deliver exceptional user experiences

Responsibilities

• Develop well‑architected, responsive, and performant web applications
• Develop reliable software systems for Starlink
• Design and implement fault‑tolerant networks that operate at scale
• Deliver expert level TypeScript React code for modern browsers
• Full stack development in a .NET micro‑service architecture running in Kubernetes
• Focus on monitoring and alerting to improve observability and decision making
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive business outcomes
• Work with cross‑team reviews to advance architecture and design
• Deep dive into users' problems to create efficient solutions
