Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer, Design Engineering (Starlink) to develop and maintain web applications for Starlink user experiences. You will work on the UXSW team delivering interfaces across mobile and web, enabling setup, monitoring, and support for millions of users.

You will contribute to a .NET micro-service architecture in Kubernetes, with duties spanning frontend (TypeScript/React) and backend integration, plus monitoring and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline.
• 1+ years of experience building full-stack software; OR 3+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Front-end experience in React or similar JavaScript framework.
• Experience with databases and CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop well-architected, responsive, and performant web applications.
• Develop reliable software systems for Starlink.
• Design and implement highly available networks with minimal maintenance at scale.
• Deliver expert level TypeScript React code for modern browsers.
• Full stack development in a .NET micro-service architecture running in Kubernetes.
• Focus on monitoring and alerting to drive data-driven decisions.
• Work with internal partners to drive successful business outcomes.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to improve architecture and code reviews.
• Deep dive into users’ problems to find efficient solutions.
• Contribute to team discussions on architecture and design reviews.
