Snap Finance is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to join our Applied AI team in Utah. You will build production applications and infrastructure that support credit decisioning, pricing, and risk, alongside experienced ML and analytics engineers.

This role suits a recent CS or math graduate eager to write real software, grow quickly, and see how engineering drives business. You will write clean code, participate in production ML, and learn deployment practices with a modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; 0–2 years of experience.
• Strong Python fundamentals and familiarity with SQL.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Willingness to learn software engineering practices (testing, version control, deployment).
• Exposure to ML concepts via coursework or personal projects.

Responsibilities

• Build real applications from day one.
• Design, build, and maintain apps and services across Snap's lending business.
• Write clean, tested, well-documented code and ship production features.
• Help bring machine learning into production and support ML infrastructure.
• Collaborate with ML/Analytics teams and stakeholders.
