Job summary

ServiceNow’s Security Organization (SSO) seeks a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead AI-driven cyber defense engineering. You’ll own architecture for automated security investigations, threat hunting, and risk reduction at scale, and empower practitioners to extend automation themselves.

You’ll guide a high-caliber engineering team, set a rapid shipping cadence, and partner with Security Ops, Threat Intelligence, Hunting, and Red Team to define priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI into workflows and decision-making.
• 10–15 years building and shipping software at scale or equivalent with education.
• 2+ years in engineering management.
• Deep technical fluency to review code and architecture.
• Ability to balance build vs enablement and coaching mindset.
• Ability to operate with significant ambiguity and start a new function.
• Proven engineering best-practices and high technical standards.
