Job summary

Agentio in New York is seeking a Research Engineer to advance applied AI and ML research, developing models that improve predictions and automate more of the decisions behind creator advertising.

You’ll work on multimodal intelligence, ranking and prediction, and foundation models, spanning research and production, evaluating methods, and shipping production-ready solutions with engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting applied ML research with production systems.
• Ability to translate ambiguous product problems into tractable research questions.
• Strong engineering skills to ship ML work beyond prototypes.
• Knowledge of current AI research and practical judgment.
• PhD or advanced degree is useful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own research problems from problem definition and experimentation through production.
• Evaluate AI/ML methods against Agentio’s data with rigorous experiments and evaluations.
• Develop models, algorithms, training approaches, or datasets when existing techniques aren’t sufficient.
• Help set Agentio’s research agenda and technical standards for applied ML.
