Job summary

Paradigm is seeking a Product Engineer, Applied AI, to advance infrastructure, AI models, and open-source tooling that empower our investing and research mandate. You will build agent-based experiences, primarily via Slack, and extend Centaur while collaborating with the Paradigm team and ecosystem partners.

You will bridge foundational AI research with practical product delivery, delivering usable tools for automation, research workflows, and investor-facing capabilities in a fast-moving,

Qualifications

• Track record of building world-class products.
• Experience applying modern AI and software systems to solve complex problems end-to-end.
• Comfortable navigating from foundational models to full-stack product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Embed with cross-functional teams to identify automatable work and ship agent-based solutions.
• Build user-facing experiences, primarily Slack interfaces, to enable fast, legible collaboration.
• Own extensibility and developer experience for Centaur, including tools, workflows, and overlays.
• Expand support across Centaur CLIs to provide a single execution model for agents.
• Open-source stewardship: triage issues/PRs, write docs, and shape community guides.
