Job summary

Paradigm, a San Francisco‑based investment firm, seeks an Infrastructure Engineer, Applied AI to own the core services coordinating agent runs with durable state and robust production reliability.

You will build a sandboxed, Kubernetes‑based runtime for agent sessions, manage credentials and secure egress, and drive reliability, observability, and upgrades for self‑hosted deployments like Centaur in collaboration with the Paradigm team.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of shipping world‑class products.
• Experience applying AI and software systems to complex problems end‑to‑end.
• Able to navigate from foundational models to full‑stack delivery.
• Autonomous, pragmatic, product‑minded builder who collaborates well.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own core services that coordinate agent runs and maintain durable state.
• Build and harden the Kubernetes‑based runtime for agent sessions.
• Maintain credentials and secure egress for third‑party APIs.
• Own monitoring, alerting, incident response and recovery behaviors.
• Support self‑hosted Centaur deployment with clean upgrades.
