The Applied AI Engineer, Fullstack role at Ramp Financial focuses on delivering customer-facing AI experiences and data-rich interfaces using React and TypeScript, while collaborating on API and backend design in a hybrid New York environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ship end-to-end customer-facing AI experiences, spanning the React UI to the underlying APIs and data contracts.
• Create fast, dense, interactive interfaces suitable for agentic analysis, FP&A, and book-close workflows with BI-tool quality standards.
• Own complex client-side state and rendering challenges across data-heavy, real-time, agent-driven surfaces.
• Collaborate on API and backend design to ensure the full stack effectively serves product goals.
• Apply the latest coding models and agentic workflows as a core daily practice.

Requirements

• Extensive frontend expertise in TypeScript, React, and sophisticated state management for complex, data-intensive applications.
• Proficiency with the latest AI coding models and agentic development workflows, with demonstrated excellence.
• Ability to work across the stack, including API design and backend systems, while keeping frontend at the center of gravity.
• A track record of shipping polished, production-grade product experiences and navigating ambiguity.
• Bonus: experience with BI tools, data visualization, or financial/analytics products.

Salary range: $204,400 – $352,000 per year, plus equity. The final compensation depends on location and level at hire.
