Job summary

Ramp Financial is seeking a Data Scientist, Finance to build models and end-to-end data systems turning raw information into finance-focused insights. You will partner with Finance and data engineering to deliver data products that inform business decisions.

Responsibilities include developing full stack data solutions, driving experimental design, and collaborating with Finance and Data teams to influence strategic outcomes. Hybrid work in New York, NY, with additional engagement in SF.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in Data Science, Software Engineering, or Finance.
• Strong AI proficiency to adopt new skills quickly.
• Proven track record of shipping high quality products and features at scale.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment using iterative technical solutions.
• Familiarity with financial metrics and processes (e.g., contribution profit, financial statements, monthly close) and/or B2B enterprise sales cycle metrics and processes.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (preferably Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery) and ability to write efficient SQL queries.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with the modern data stack (Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Hightouch, or equivalents)
• Familiarity with BI tools (preferably Looker, Omni, Sigma, Hex, or equivalent) and distributing data insights through reports and dashboards

Compensation

• Target base salary: USD 137,120 - 297,330 for SF/NY
• Offers equity
• Final compensation depends on location and the level at which the candidate is hired
