Job summary

CLEAR is building the secure identity platform of the future. We design, build, and deploy AI-powered systems to streamline internal workflows and enhance customer experiences across airports, venues, and everyday life.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Security, Legal, and Operations to identify high-impact opportunities, prototype solutions, and productionize reliable AI systems with governance and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or another modern backend language.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and model APIs.
• Experience deploying production systems with APIs, data platforms, cloud infra, logging and testing.
• Ability to translate business needs into usable AI products with stakeholders.
• Strong product judgment to identify practical, high-ROI AI use cases.
• Knowledge of responsible AI concepts including evals, guardrails, data privacy, and governance.
• Excellent communication of complex tech to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Discover, prioritize, and build AI use cases across internal tools and customer-facing features.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions.
• Prototype AI agents, LLM applications, RAG workflows, and automation tools.
• Productionize AI use cases with evaluation, monitoring, and governance.
• Build reusable patterns for prompt management, retrieval, and guardrails.
• Implement privacy, security, and risk review for AI initiatives.
• Measure and communicate AI impact across adoption, cost reduction, and user experience.
