Job summary

MANTECH in Doral, FL is seeking a motivated Applied AI Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize AI/ML models across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments. You will lead AI/ML pipelines, collaborate with data architects, and ensure robust integration with mission networks.

Responsibilities include evaluating new AI frameworks, maintaining technical docs, and supporting DoD-scale deployments. A current secret clearance is required, with extensive software, API, and DevSecOps experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in advanced analytics or data science roles.
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or PhD with 1+ year.
• Associate’s degree with 7+ years of experience or high school diploma with 9+ years.
• Proven experience developing and deploying ML models using PyTorch or TensorFlow; strong Python and C++ background.
• Experience with cloud architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models to solve complex challenges.
• Orchestrate AI/ML pipelines and automate training/evaluation workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI architecture standards.
• Perform model evaluation, tuning, and optimization across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments.
• Maintain technical baselines and docs for AI systems and models.
• Evaluate new AI frameworks and tooling for process improvements.
