Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking a remote AI Engineer to join as the second member of a new AI team. You will own an AI-powered platform for construction takeoffs and bills of material, collaborating with the AI Team Lead to shape the product and roadmap.

This 3-month contract-to-hire role offers significant ownership, exposure from day one, and the chance to blend AI engineering, product thinking, and business impact while working EST hours with some travel.

Qualifications

• Experience training, tuning, deploying, and supporting AI/ML models.
• Azure or cloud-based AI platform experience.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience integrating APIs and third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve an AI product by supporting and enhancing a production AI application.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement; improve performance and reliability.
• Partner with end users to understand pain points and deliver solutions.
