Job summary

Ignitium is seeking a hands-on Applied AI Engineer to build AI tools, agents, and automations that accelerate internal workflows and deliver client-ready AI solutions and PoCs.

You will leverage AI coding tools, read and debug code, and own what you ship. The role requires production‑grade AI integration, strong problem solving, and clear collaboration with non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production AI‑integrated applications.
• Experience with prompt and context engineering, RAG, structured outputs, tool use, and agent architectures.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms (n8n preferred; Zapier or Make also valued) and writing custom code inside them.
• Understanding of model trade-offs: latency, cost, accuracy, reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered tools, agents, and workflows used daily by internal teams.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into solutions with clear inputs, outputs, and success metrics.
• Harden what you build: error handling, logging, monitoring, and graceful failure for unattended workflows.
