The Kinetic Effects Business Area of Leidos Defense Sector seeks an Applied Aerodynamics Engineer to join the Huntsville, AL campus to support design and analysis of missile and aviation systems. • BS in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering from ABET-accredited program with a minimum GPA of 3.25 and 2+ years of experience.
• Masters degree in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering.
• Demonstrated capabilities in Python or Matlab.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical and semi-empirical aerodynamic prediction tools to the design and analysis of flight vehicles.
• Support aerodynamic design trade studies, performance assessments, testing, and development of high-fidelity aerodynamic characterizations of flight vehicles.
