Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Applied Aerodynamics Engineer to join the Kinetic Effects team at the Huntsville, AL campus. You will work on design and analysis for missile and aviation systems, using analytical and semi-empirical tools to evaluate flight vehicles.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering from ABET-accredited program with GPA 3.25 and 2+ years experience or MS in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering.
• Programming with Python or Matlab.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Apply aerodynamic prediction tools to design and analysis of flight vehicles.
• Support aerodynamic design trade studies and performance assessments.
• Develop high-fidelity aerodynamic characterizations and support wind tunnel testing.
