Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Applied Aerodynamics Engineer at the Huntsville, AL campus to support design and analysis of missile and aviation systems. You will apply analytical and semi-empirical aerodynamic prediction tools, assist in aerodynamic trade studies, performance assessments, testing, and the development of high-fidelity characterizations.

• MS degree in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering.
• Programming in Python or Matlab.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• US citizen with ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Residency in North Alabama or willingness to relocate to Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Applying analytical and semi-empirical aerodynamic prediction tools to the design and analysis of flight vehicles.
