The Applications Systems Analyst will support the institutionally-approved Medical (and other Healthcare staff) credentialing system. Responsibilities include configuring the system according to MD Anderson policies, interacting with vendors to implement features, maintaining documentation, managing security clearances, disaster recovery procedures, writing custom data load scripts, and extracting information for reporting using SQL. The role also involves supporting department users with root-cause analysis, error investigation, and maximizing system utilization, as well as maintaining servers, including patching and configuration of Microsoft Windows Server systems hosting the application.
