Job summary

Bruker is seeking a highly motivated analytical scientist to join the TOFWERK USA commercial team in Boulder, CO. The role emphasizes pre-sales technical leadership, collaboration with service teams, and customer-focused support across the Americas.

You will lead demonstrations, develop methods, and help grow key markets while traveling up to 30% and maintaining strong English communication. Hybrid lab and field work in Colorado.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field.
• Experience with applied mass spectrometry.
• Strong technical instrumentation skills, hardware and software.
• Ability to design experiments, prepare samples, operate equipment, troubleshoot and interpret data.
• Fluent English; willingness to travel up to 30% for site visits and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead sales demonstrations in Boulder lab or at customer sites.
• Serve as technical expert in pre-sales conversations and propose product-based solutions.
• Act as primary contact for customer applications support, including method development and data QA/QC.
• Coordinate between applications and service teams to address technical issues.
• Lead instrument installations and customer trainings.
• Assemble and commission custom regional solutions including mobile labs.
• Maintain TOFWERK USA demo laboratories and contribute to growth across key markets.
• Represent TOFWERK at conferences, meetings, and in marketing materials.
• Develop analytical methods and support growth in target markets.
• Manage high-priority tasks and customer interactions proactively.
