Insight Global is seeking an Applications Project Manager to support growth initiatives and advance technical excellence across multiple industries. This remote role conducts site technical audits, troubleshoots utility issues, and contributes to the development and dissemination of technical knowledge and training programs.

You will lead multiple internal projects, act as a liaison between field applications and R&D, and evaluate new product ideas.

• 7+ years in water/cooling industry with a technical background.
• Direct value sales experience with understanding of business fundamentals.
• Expertise in administration and management of cooling chemical applications.
• Project management experience leading large projects in a team setting.

Location: Remote, preference for candidates near a major airport - Travel up to 50%

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Compensation: $160,000 - $190,000 annually

• Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
• Benefit packages & PTO included.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of water / cooling industry experience and a technical background in the heavy industry sector
• Prior direct value sales experience with understanding of business fundamentals
• Expertise in administration and management of cooling chemical applications
• Project management experience or experience requiring planning, directing, managing, and execution of large projects in team setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving, strong attention to detail, and quick understanding of technical concepts
• Strong independent work ethic with proven track record of growth and success
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions, balancing customer’s needs and company objectives
• Strong communication skills, presentation capability, and ability to influence others through direct and indirect methods
• Technical leadership of product lines and markets
• Coaching/Collaboration with other Applications, Marketing and Commercial staffs globally

Job Description

As a member of the Applications team, the Applications Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting growth initiatives and advancing technical excellence across multiple industries. This position is responsible for conducting site technical audits, troubleshooting complex utility-related issues, and contributing to the development and dissemination of technical knowledge and training programs.

The role also leads multiple internal projects focused on new technology development and market expansion, serving as a key liaison between field applications and R&D by evaluating and filtering new product ideas. Success in this role is measured by contributions to sales growth, profitability, and the sustainability of existing business operations.

This position is remote within the United States, with a preference for candidates located near a major airport. Travel is approximately 50%.
