Job summary

Systems Plus is seeking an experienced Applications Programmer Level III to join our team supporting government contracts. The role emphasizes model-driven Power Apps, Dataverse configurations, and Power Automate workflows, with responsibilities across development, testing, and documentation.

Eight years of development experience and a BS in a relevant field are preferred. The position offers full-time remote work with occasional on-site requests from Bethesda, MD region, and exposure to NIH/HHS

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain model-driven Power Apps using Microsoft Dataverse and Power Automate.
• Configure forms, views, validation rules, workflow routing, notifications, and status tracking.
• Develop and support integrations with federal systems using APIs or custom connectors.
• Support Power BI reports and dashboards using Dataverse and other approved data sources.
• Test applications, incorporate feedback, deploy updates, and resolve production defects.
• Prepare and maintain technical, configuration, and end-user documentation and collaborate with the technical team.

Daily Responsibilities

• Develop andmaintainmodel-driven Power Apps using Microsoft Dataverse and Power Automate.

Years of Experience:

• Minimum of eight years of relevant application development or programming experience, including recent hands-on experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

Required Degree:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. An equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and directly relevant professional experience may be considered.

Requirements:

• Experience translating business and functional requirements into technical designs and application solutions.
• Hands-on experience developing model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Microsoft Dataverse configurations, including tables, relationships, forms, views, business rules, and validation rules.
• Experience integrating applications with databases, APIs, custom connectors,orother enterprise systems.
• Experience testing, debugging, deploying,maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise applications.
• Experience preparing technical, system, configuration, and end-user documentation.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Power BI, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and application lifecycle management tools.
• Federal application-development experience; NIH or HHS experience is particularly desirable.
• Relevant Microsoft Power Platform orapplication-developmenttraining or certification.
