Job summary

Socket.dev in the United States is seeking an Applications and Marketing Engineer for Industrial Packaged Systems to support technical sales, equipment selection, and project coordination across Evapco’s packaged refrigeration solutions.

You will work with customers, sales reps, and engineering teams, develop proposals, and help deliver projects from inquiry to startup. Travel 10–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration, HVACR, or Process Cooling.
• Experience with ammonia (NH3) and transcritical CO2 preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales and application engineering support for packaged system solutions.
• Perform equipment selections, sizing, and system evaluations.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals in response to inquiries and RFPs.
• Coordinate with product development and manufacturing for project delivery.
• Support project execution from inquiry through startup and handoff.
• Travel to meet customers and attend industry conferences (10–20%).
