Job summary

KLA in Milpitas, CA is seeking a high‑impact leader to drive New Product Introduction (NPI), product validation, and global Applications engineering programs. You will own alpha/beta testing, develop BKMs and technical docs, and partner with Sales, Marketing, and Field teams to showcase value and accelerate adoption.

You will manage escalations, influence product strategy with engineering and field partners, and build a high‑performing team through structured training and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• Experience leading Applications Engineering, Product Applications, Field Applications, Product Development, or related technical teams.
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), including alpha and beta testing, product characterization, and customer qualifications.
• Track record of driving customer evaluations, technical demonstrations, and product adoption programs for strategic customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Validation – own applications support for new product development, including alpha and beta testing, documentation for deployment.
• Drive Customer Engagement and Product Demonstrations – lead evaluations and demos for beta products and emerging technologies with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Manage Technical Escalations and Customer Success – oversee escalations, coordinate cross-functional resolution with Engineering and Field teams.
• Influence Product Strategy and Capability Development – partner across teams to define features based on customer feedback and field experience.
• Develop Global Applications Capabilities – establish training programs and knowledge sharing across regions with BKMs and Apps Notes.
• Build and Develop a High‑Performing Team – coach and develop a team of Applications Engineers.
