CHL Systems is seeking a technical leader to guide our Applications Engineering and Estimating team, turning customer challenges into practical engineered solutions.

Based in Souderton, PA, this hybrid role oversees opportunity evaluations, conceptual development, and technical proposals, partnering with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in applications engineering, estimating, or related technical roles.
• 3+ years of leadership or team management experience.
• Experience developing project cost estimates and technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Applications Engineering and Estimating team, including assignments and performance reviews.
• Meet with customers to understand requirements and recommend technical approaches.
• Develop conceptual layouts, equipment selections, cost estimates, and technical proposals.
• Support complex applications engineering and strategic customer opportunities.
• Review scope, costs, and exclusions to ensure sound, competitive proposals.
