Job summary

Teledyne FLIR is seeking an Applications Engineer to support our international OEM customer base by integrating high‑performance thermal cameras and software into client systems. You will perform hands‑on problem‑solving, develop documentation, and collaborate with internal engineering teams across development, testing, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities include training customers, assisting with system design and validation, and providing data‑driven insights to inform product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical documentation including application notes, test procedures, FAQs, user guides, and product specifications.
• Assist in product validation and release processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to product design, production, and validation.
• Deliver product training to customers, sales representatives, and internal staff.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% to support demonstrations and on‑site support.
