Forgent Power is seeking an Application Engineer to provide advanced technical expertise to support customers, sales teams, and internal departments. • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 2–5+ years in applications engineering, sales engineering, technical support, or related technical role.
• Must have design and/or field service experience.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP, CRM, or quoting systems and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Review complex customer specifications to develop accurate product solutions.
• Serve as a technical expert for internal teams and key customers; guide on capabilities and integration.
• Create detailed technical proposals, configurations, and supporting documentation for projects.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and product management to align solutions with needs.
• Recommend alternative designs or cost-effective options; support customer requirements.
• Support pre-sales activities including presentations and technical Q&A sessions.
• Troubleshoot advanced application challenges and assist with issues.
