MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions in Piscataway, NJ, is seeking an Applications Engineer to support commercial expansion into Semiconductor Assembly. You will oversee lab operations, run equipment, perform DOE studies, and collaborate with product development and business teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years in semiconductor assembly, CAD knowledge, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering with 3+ years in semiconductor assembly.
• Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) is required.
• Ability to perform manual work including machine assembly and maintenance.
• Advanced technical degree is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Be co-responsible for the daily running of the Laboratory in Piscataway, NJ, USA.
• Maintain 5S in the laboratory for safe operation and customer interactions.
• Operate and maintain processing/testing equipment (P&P machines, reflow ovens, sinter presses, die bonder, etc.).
• Support colleagues in running analytical equipment and data collection.
• Own specific customer projects from conception to conclusion.
• Conduct DOE studies for materials and process improvements.
• Collaborate with global teams on multi-site projects.
