Job summary

Schmalz is seeking an Applications Engineer to design and support customized vacuum systems and automation solutions. You will test products, provide technical support and quotations, and use CAD tools while collaborating with customers, sales teams, and distributors.

The role requires 2–3 years in Sales or Applications Engineering, with strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of experience in Sales or Applications Engineering.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to design and support customized vacuum systems and automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Test products and provide technical support and quotations.
• Use CAD tools to assist design and validation.
• Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and distributors to deliver automation solutions.
• Report to the Manager, Applications Engineering and contribute to project execution.
