Job summary

Centrisys/CNP is seeking an Applications Engineer (AE) to support development of technical and cost-effective process solutions. The AE will provide bid and proposal support and serve as a key technical resource for Regional Sales Managers.

The role ensures proposals align with customer and internal requirements, contributing to the company's ongoing success. The AE will design and size solutions, prepare bids, and participate in risk reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, or Civil) required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of engineering experience or relevant technical field.
• Strong background in process engineering and wastewater treatment technologies preferred.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (reviewing P&ID/PFD drawings).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design and size process solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Prepare technical bids and proposals for Centrisys product offerings.
• Participate in risk reviews for proposed designs and processes.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, engineering consultants, and customers.
• Ensure all solutions conform to contract specifications and technical drawings.
• Develop and maintain proposal templates, reference lists, and design spreadsheets.
• Process and write up incoming orders, reconciling discrepancies in scope, pricing, or delivery.
• Source vendor quotes to support accurate project budgeting.
• Prepare kickoff packages and documentation for internal project execution.
• Analyze completed project cost data to inform future proposals.
