Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking an Application Development Engineer to develop opportunities and strengthen customer relationships across North America. You will work on PCB/interconnect designs, collaborating with product, engineering and sales teams to deliver robust solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, testing, and design reviews, with occasional travel to customer sites and close coordination with internal teams for roadmap execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in PCB design and development for interconnect solutions.
• Ability to interface with customers and internal teams to translate needs into product concepts.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools and electrical/electronic fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers, product development, and sales teams to define solutions.
• Develop and propose PCB/interconnect concepts for roadmaps.
• Lead design reviews and present technical proposals to customers.
• Create engineering documentation including schematics and test plans.
• Prototype, test, debug, and troubleshoot hardware designs.
• Collaborate with CAE/process engineers and project teams.
• Travel as required to customer sites.
