Job summary

Freudenberg Flow Technologies LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer II for Connector Products. You will apply decades of oil and gas experience to design and optimize pressure-containing connections and sealing solutions.

The role requires strong communication, ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a proven track record of delivering technical objectives in a global manufacturing environment. On-site in Houston with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in oil and gas, preferably with pressure-containing connections.
• BSME required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, NORSOK, and API codes is preferred.
• Knowledge of metal-to-metal sealing products is preferred.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate highly complex concepts and influence senior stakeholders.
• Results-driven with ability to monitor and manage technical objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of practical engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with pressure-containing connections (e.g., flanges, piping systems, or subsea connections).
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)required;Master’sdegree preferred.
• Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, including ASME Section VIII, NORSOK, and API, preferred.
• Working knowledge of metal-to-metal sealing productspreferred.
• Working knowledge of buoyancy system productspreferred.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to communicatehighly complexconcepts,anticipatepotential objections, and influence senior-level stakeholders to consider alternative viewpoints.
• Results-driven, with the ability toestablish, monitor, and effectively manage the achievement of technicalobjectives.
