The Applications Engineer II will act as a crucial technical liaison, connecting customers and sales teams with internal engineering and product development departments. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to ensure that complex aerospace products are successfully implemented and supported. This person will be also Perform technical review of Request for Quote (RFQ), Customer Order (CO) in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and support Conflict Minerals Compliance i.e. RoHs, REACH, PFAS, RM, etc.To be considered for Applications Engineer II opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:Perform technical reviews of RFQs and/or CO’sInitiate and participate in drawing change process (ECR, ECN), as requiredSupport engineers by providing technical support and knowledge of products from RFQ’s and/or CO’s analysisCreate Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM), and Material Data List (MDL)Works under general supervision with a certain degree of creativity and latitude, as required.Support Change Control Board (CCB) activitiesEvaluate incoming technical data (documentation, and test reports), verify accuracy, and sort codes according to file systemUnderstanding technical data baselines to determine effects in configuration managementDispose of obsolete files in accordance with established retirement schedule or legal requirementsStore technical data in paper form (where applicable) or enter information into computerized storage system(s). Scanning and importing into electronic vault.Identify drawings, license code, original manufacturer code, top assemblyRetrieve drawings and/or materials for qualified personnel upon requestLocate missing documents as requestedMaintain drawings and associated documents/files. Maintain Technical baseline in our PLM database (Windchill).
