Job summary

TERZO POWER SYSTEMS LLC seeks an applications engineer to bridge customers with engineering and manufacturing teams. You will identify needs, specify configurations, support integration discussions, and drive new business across mobile, industrial, and off-highway markets.

The role requires 3–5 years in technical sales or application engineering, basic fluid power and electrical knowledge, and travel up to 20%. Onsite full-time in California with opportunity for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years in technical sales, application engineering, or hydraulics and electrification.
• Basic fluid power knowledge including pump sizing (flow, pressure, displacement, power).
• Basic electrical knowledge including motor control and CAN bus familiarity.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication skills for customer interactions by phone, email, and in person.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (~10–20%).

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical contact for customers integrating electro-hydraulic systems.
• Perform pump sizing and system calculations to meet requirements.
• Support electrical integration including CAN bus troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot field and test bench issues with customers.
• Generate application documentation and sizing guides.
• Assist product development to meet unique customer needs.
• Relay customer feedback into actionable requirements for product improvements.
• Support sales with technical presentations, trade shows, and product quotes.
