Responsibilities:

• Design custom cooling packages and solutions using knowledge of heat transfer and fluid flow
• Evaluate heat exchanger performance and find solutions for OEM customers
• Utilize API simulation software for heat exchanger design
• Generate quotes and follow up to secure new business
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
• Provide onsite technical support and testing assistance
• Monitor field feedback for product improvements
• Manage post-sale activities to meet customer requirements
• Participate in engineering and new product initiatives
• Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a focus on heat transfer preferred
• Minimum 1 year of applications engineering experience
• Familiarity with heat exchanger sizing and simulation software
• Ability to learn API software quickly
• Knowledge of aluminum, shell & tube, and plate heat exchangers
• Experience with new product development processes
• Data center industry knowledge is a plus
