GEOTEK LLC in Stewartville, MN is seeking an Applications Engineer for on-site work. You will translate customer needs into designs, run structural/load calculations, and interpret lab data to support product development.

You'll produce drawings, BOMs, and reports, and present designs while traveling up to 10%. A BS in Engineering and 3+ years in a manufacturing setting with customer-facing experience are required; SolidWorks or equivalent CAD is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering.
• 3+ years as an applications, sales, product, or design engineer at a manufacturer.
• Experience in technical conversations with customers' engineers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand what they're building and translate it into a design that works.
• Perform the structural and load calculations behind it.
• Interpret test data from our lab and make the design call.
• Lead or contribute to new product development and product line expansion.
• Produce engineering drawings, BOMs and reports.
• Present designs and proposals to customers; travel up to 10%.
• Collaborate with sales and operations so quotes align with shipped products.
