Arrow Electronics is seeking an Applications Engineer to design and develop software solutions, manage the SDLC, and assist with testing, implementation, and auditing. You will perform product design, bug verification, beta support, and document software specifications throughout the project life cycle.

The role requires deep software development and troubleshooting expertise, the ability to solve complex problems, and independent work, with potential guidance to junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops software solutions meeting business requirements and manages the full software development life cycle including testing, implementation, and auditing.
• Performs product design, bug verification, and beta support requiring research and analysis.
• Executes, assesses, and troubleshoots software programs; analyzes and fixes errors in a timely fashion.
• Codes, documents software specifications, and participates in upgrades, fixes, and patches as mandated by the vendor.
• Reports to the Manager of Software Development and operates under moderate supervision.
