Job summary

SUSS MicroTec SE is seeking an Applications Engineer to bridge engineering and client needs, tailoring products and guiding customers through the lifecycle. You will translate complex requirements, design custom applications, and support deployment and adoption while collaborating with sales, product development, and support teams.

Ideal candidates will analyze feedback, stay current with industry trends, and contribute to continuous improvement of our lithography, wafer bonding and packaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in applications engineering, technical consulting, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and application development processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages applicable to the industry.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

As an Applications Engineer, you will serve as a critical link between our engineering teams and our clients, ensuring that our products and solutions are effectively tailored to meet customer needs. Your role involves understanding complex technical requirements, designing customized applications, and providing expert guidance throughout the product lifecycle. Your Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in applications engineering, technical consulting, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and application development processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages applicable to the industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a technical discipline or business administration.
• Experience working in a customer-facing role within a technology or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends relevant to the company’s product portfolio.
• Certifications related to project management, software development, or specific technical domains.
