Job summary

Times Microwave Systems is seeking a technically adept professional to lead North American commercial efforts while leveraging customer interactions to tailor RF/microwave interconnect solutions across multiple market segments. You will support product development, assist in quotations, and present concepts to customers and sales channels.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, collaboration with BD/PM teams, and on-site support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, applied science or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in a technical role with customer interaction.
• Space aerospace market experience preferred.
• RF/microwave knowledge: transmission line theory, impedance matching, test & measurement, microwave assemblies.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of physics concepts.
• Self-driven, analytical, and able to work in fast-paced environment.

Summary

Qualified candidates will combine technical and customer service skills to provide differentiated RF/microwave interconnect solutions for a broad range of requirements in various market segments. They will apply analytical and communication skills to assist customers in their product development process and provide on-site support as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute the North American commercial strategy in alignment with the company's global growth objectives. Focusing on the vertical focus markets of Test & Measurement, Semiconductor and ATE, Space, Robotics, Quantum and Telecom
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Program Managers to provide technical support, secure design wins, and drive revenue growth.
• Interface with customers, identify their needs, and develop differentiated solutions.
• Support key account strategy by developing partnership with customer's technical stakeholders and providing subject matter expertise.
• Provide on-site product support and/or training to customers and sales channels.
• Present technology concepts to customers and/or sales channels in support of pre-sales activities.
• Support quoting activities with product configurations, cost analysis, and specification review.
• Communicate and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure that customer requirements are fully met.
• Funnel voice of customer (VoC) and voice of market (VoM) to Business Development, Product Managers, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations in support of continuous improvement and new product development.
• Work with Engineering and Marketing to create supporting documents such as product drawings, data sheets, and application notes.
• Support the creation and maintenance of marketing literature, including websites, catalogs, media content, and technical papers.
• Participate in the design review and product release process.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, technology, applied science discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 to 5 years of work experience in a technical professional role with customer interaction.
• Experience in the Space aerospace market preferred.
• Experience with RF/microwave technology in any of the following subject matters preferred: transmission line theory, impedance matching techniques, test and measurement, and integrated microwave assemblies.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude and fluency with basic physics principles, e.g. temperature, pressure, corrosion, radiation etc.
• Responsive, flexible, and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-driven with a combination of entrepreneurial spirit, technical acumen, and intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to apply an analytical and innovative approach to problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective presenter of information in a variety of settings.
• Travel 25-40%.
