Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer – Industrial Process Controls to size, specify, and support flow control equipment across industrial projects.

The role intersects engineering with commercial execution, including proposal development, application review, and direct customer interaction. The successful candidate will perform valve sizing, review project specs, and assist in pricing and bid proposals, coordinating with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card)
• 5–10 years in industrial process environments with valve and flow control exposure
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
• Proven technical sales experience with direct client engagement and proposal responsibility
• Background in inside sales or sales support for engineered equipment
• Hands-on use of valve sizing/modeling tools
• Strong capability interpreting P&IDs, specifications, and technical documentation
• High attention to detail in documentation, quoting, and technical submittal

Responsibilities

• Perform valve sizing, selection, and specification aligned to process conditions and project requirements
• Review P&IDs, datasheets, and client specifications to ensure technical accuracy and compliance
• Support technical sales efforts including quote generation, bid evaluations, and proposal development
• Interface directly with customers to resolve application issues and define optimal flow control solutions
• Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams to support execution and delivery milestones
• Utilize industry-standard sizing and diagnostic tools to validate performance and selection
• Maintain accurate documentation, costing, and configuration records throughout the sales cycle

Applications Engineer responsible for specification, sizing, and technical support of control valves and flow control equipment across industrial process projects.
