Job summary

Hydro-Gear is seeking an Applications Engineer to work on customer-facing technical projects in Sullivan, IL. You will collaborate with an Account Manager to deliver solutions, provide engineering support for direct turf OEM customers, and contribute to vehicle development and product applications.

The role emphasizes strong communication, hands-on technical skills, and travel to customer sites up to 50% as needed. Salary is commensurate with experience plus a biannual bonus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work in a team collaboration environment with a customer Account Manager to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and solutions for direct turf OEM customers and Hydro-Gear.
• Participate in vehicle development projects and ensure proper application of hydraulic and electric products for the direct turf OEM market segment.
• Provide ongoing technical support to direct turf OEM customers in development, maintenance, and service of the application.
• Schedule on site visits with direct turf OEM accounts to discuss new development projects, current production applications, field service and warranty support.
