Job summary

Instrumart in South Burlington, VT is seeking a Sales and Product Support Specialist to help customers over phone, web, and chat, and to analyze applications for optimal solutions. You will collaborate with pricing, purchasing, and service teams, support post-sale needs, and work with vendors to ensure profitable transactions.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or general Engineering is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Strong technical skills and business acumen.
• Excellent time and workload management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous sales, product support, or product management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and service support to incoming leads by phone, website, and chat platform.
• Strategize solutions for application challenges through engineering analysis and provide quotations and post-sale support.
• Collaborate with supporting departments to ensure accurate pricing, purchasing, and service for customers.
• Review cost accounting on sales orders to ensure profitability on each transaction.
• Be the liaison between Instrumart and vendors for sales, service, discount structure, and pricing.
• Work with management, marketing, and website teams to establish go-to-market strategies, product documentation, and pricing.
• Assist the shipping department in pulling and verification of parts on sales orders or incoming shipments.
• Test and verify products received from vendors and customers.
• Occasionally perform production, calibration, and modification of existing components to meet application demand.

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or general Engineering is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Previous sales and product support experience, along with product management experience, is preferred.
