Job summary

Applied Fluid Power is seeking an Applications Engineer to collaborate with the technical sales team and customers, designing and quoting fluid power and electrification solutions. You will influence project specs and support engineering activities from concept to completion.

You will join a team focused on growth, training, and delivering value through engineered solutions and strong customer relationships in Indianapolis. This role requires hands-on CAD work and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical fluid power experience.
• Strong leadership and customer relations skills.
• Motivated for team and individual work.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Ability to create hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and layouts.
• Willingness to tackle challenges including technical research.

As an Application Engineer with Applied Fluid Power, you'll spend your time interacting with our technical sales team and customers to provide solutions to their fluid power and electrification needs. • Ability to create hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and layout drawings
• Capable of contributing to electrification initiatives
