Selectek has a client with a need for an Applications Engineer to provide engineering support for the Aftermarket Parts and Service division.

To be successful in this role candidates need a detailed understanding of both the technical and business processes related to the design and supply of standardized and custom industrial heating processing equipment.

Job Duties:

• Provide engineering support for customer issues
• Provide engineering support Service & Parts Department
• Provide support for retrofit projects as needed.
• Retrofit support will typically include assistance with quotes and budgeting.
• This may also require site visits to evaluate customer equipment.
• Manage the details and schedules for all of the above.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering from an accredited 4-year university.
• 5+ years of direct industry experience engineering thermal fluid heaters, heat exchangers, boilers or similar industrial processing equipment.
• Strong communication skills written and verbal.
• Strong customer service mindset.

Job Order Details:

Customers will reach out to them via phone or email with Parts/Service issues. They will help them with any existing issues they are having. This could be existing customers or future customers. This person will go and find the right fix for their issue. They could also get calls from someone that is using other equipment who needs assistance. They will send over the drawings and details they have, and this person will help them find a solution. They need an engineer in this role that will understand their customers’ problems. Need someone with a familiarity of Thermal Fluid Heaters, Heat Exchangers, and Boilers work in an industrial setting.

Details:

• Sponsorship: No, U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder Salary Range: $82,000 - $100,000 Location of job: Marietta, GA Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday; 8 hours a day.
• Can start as early as 7am and stay as late as 6pm Work from Home: During the first 3-4 months it will be 100% in office.
• As they get up to speed, they would be able to work from home 2 days a week.
