Job summary

Selectek is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide engineering support for the Aftermarket Parts and Service division in Marietta, GA. The role focuses on technical and business processes related to design and supply of heating processing equipment.

The candidate will support service, parts, retrofit projects, quotes, budgeting, and may require site visits to evaluate customer equipment, while coordinating schedules and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering from an accredited 4 year university.
• 5+ years of direct industry experience engineering thermal fluid heaters, heat exchangers, boilers or similar industrial processing equipment.
• Strong communication skills written and verbal.
• Strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for customer issues.
• Provide engineering support Service & Parts Department.
• Provide support for retrofit projects as needed.
• Retrofit support will typically include assistance with quotes and budgeting.
• This may also require site visits to evaluate customer equipment.
• Manage the details and schedules for all of the above.
