Job summary

CPC in San Francisco, CA is seeking a strategic Account Manager in Thermal Management to identify opportunities, build relationships with key customers, and drive adoption of our products. You will be the technical resource within the commercial team, conduct product trainings, manage key accounts, and develop go-to-market strategies to penetrate the Thermal Management network.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree, 3+ years in customer-facing roles, strong communication and negotiation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years in customer-facing technical or sales roles; 5+ years preferred.
  • Ability to engage with all organization levels incl. engineers, purchasing, and executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams and cultures.
  • Self-starter who thrives autonomously and manages time effectively.
  • Strong sales acumen and ability to demonstrate value to customers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
  • Must be located in or around the San Francisco Bay area
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related business, science or engineering degree (technical degree preferred)
  • 3+ years in customer facing technical or sales roles. 5+ years preferred.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organizations including specifying engineers, purchasing, and upper management.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage cultural differences and diverse communication styles.
  • Professional self-starter who thrives in working in an autonomous environment.
  • Must have strong time management skills.
  • A solid sales acumen, with the ability to promote value.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer centric mentality.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal groups and external customers.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Solid negotiating skills.
  • This role may require up to 50% travel, domestically and internationally. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.
