Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Applications Developer/ Software Engineer in Virginia to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team. You will lead Agile processes, translate requirements into actionable tasks, and drive cloud-based, secure, scalable software across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities include building RESTful services, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring accreditation readiness while collaborating with security and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Agile teams with sprint planning and backlogs.
• Translating customer requirements into MVIs, features, and user stories.
• Ability to manage risks and deliver on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with security, operations, and testing teams for accreditation.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary Agile teams through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily scrums.
• Translate requirements into user stories and technical tasks within Lean Agile.
• Coordinate across security, operations, and testing for smooth delivery and accreditation.
• Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS/Azure/GCP and container tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and secure DevSecOps practices.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services in Java/Python/Node.js; ensure scalability.
• Collaborate with designers to translate UX concepts into UI implementations.
• Maintain legacy systems while modernizing to cloud-native architectures.
• Create dashboards and data visualizations to support decision-making.
